The Revere Group, previously noted in industry reports as the “Five Horsemen,” a group of industry veterans who are raising the alarm about the possible demise of the PCB industry in the U.S., has added additional members. Richard Carpenter, formally of IBM, and Marc Chason, formally of Motorola, has joined the original members: Gene Weiner, Dan Feinberg, James Hickman, Michael Carano, and Matt Holzmann. As its first activity, the group will prepare a major report on the status of the global HDI segment and the position and prospects of the U. S. industry in that segment.

In support of these activities, CircuiTree is hosting a conference on the survival of the U.S. PCB industry. Go to www.circuitreelive.com or the new The Way We See It blog for more details.
