DIGITIMES — Foxconn Electronics (Hon Hai Precision Industry) has said it will maintain its own-brand marketing staff for motherboards but will transfer some technical staff to support other business units. The comments were made in response to ongoing speculation that it has been decreasing efforts to market own-brand motherboards and may eventually exit the market.

Edmund Ding, spokesperson at Foxconn, said that the company will maintain its motherboard marketing strategy, adding that it will adopt the best strategy for each marketing and sales team.
