Nokia: India to Have 500 Cell Phone Users By 2010

Nokia, furthering its stake in the India cell phone market, announced that it anticipates cell phone users in this BRIC nation to surpass 500 million by 2010. Nokia indicated that the market will be split into three areas: high end (50 million users), mid-range (150 million users), and a lower tier (300 million users), unique to India, which will be very low-cost devices.
